Call for Applications: Summer Program — Jean Monnet Module on Parliamentary Democracy in Europe


The Call for Applications for the sixth edition of the Summer Program  — Jean Monnet Module on Parliamentary Democracy in Europe is now open. This year’s program is organised at LUISS Guido Carli University on 10-21 July 2017 and devoted to “Parliaments, democratic accountability and budgetary powers”.

This year’s program focuses on procedures such as the European semester and national budgetary procedures, on the role of the Court of Justice of the European Union and national constitutional courts in the adjudication of Euro-crisis measures and their impact on the role of parliaments, on the European Central Bank and on the EU budget and its changes. The program features senior academics as well as practitioners and welcomes submissions from your academic and civil servants.

The deadline for the applications is fast approaching and is 30 April.
